Throughout the clinic we've been working with a single type of veneer on a
structure. Here is an example of three different veneers on one.
At the base is a block foundation. This went on first making slight
overlap joints as explained for cinderblock in the basic clinic. Above that are
clapboard for the front of the structure and
board/batten for the back of the structure.
The clapboards needing repair are a technique I learned from Howard Zane using
a chisel point hobby blade to lift sections of the clapboard.
