If your are right handed it may be obvious to you that I am not. I am cutting strips off the left side of the sheet. Which ever side you favor be sure to take an initial strip off the edge to even things up.
The manufactured edge may be a little rough and not align at ninety degrees to the mortar lines. I made little cuts in the edge every 3 feet on the bottom and top edges of the sheet. Then its simply a matter of aligning the metal straight edge with these marks.
