Hudson Point & Hawthorne Railroad

The Hudson Point and Hawthorne railroad describes trackage heading west where it meets mountains. Not described in any detail is what lies out beyond those mountains. These new pages will show the "Western Division" of the HP&H that is 158 miles farther West.

The reality is that the original HP&H was taken down some time ago and not rebuilt. There were a few false starts with uprooting and moving house, TWICE, preventing any noticable progress on the model. Now, three houses later, and retired from the day job, the long imagined Western Division is being built out in far Western Maryland (literally).

Photo shows 6 months into the build. Track plan is done. Benchwork is in. Track is laid. Scenery has started.
