Kirby Manufacturing is alongside the double crossover that begins the Hudson
Point yard. The main line is much too busy here for an industrial spur.
Kirby gets is rail service on an elevated line that
runs out of Union Hall. They do use this side of the plant for some
light trucking. At the left edge of this photo is the brick
tower where yard controls are operated. |
