Foamcore veneer is also an excellent method for flat or back drop structures.  The next few photos show a series of town houses that will cover a hillside. Only the fronts, and very little of the sides and roofs will be seen. The front piece of foamcore provides enough structural strength to build and handle multiple homes as a unit with the roofs and sides just "hanging on".
