ahartlitehouse.jpg (61588 bytes) I really don't know if its oil or water color. What is remarkable is that In each of these scenes, left and right, an HO scale artist is painting the very scene he is in.  And accurately! ahartwaterft.jpg (60025 bytes)
ahlighthouse.jpg (61983 bytes) This is another view of the
 lighthouse painter. In the
top photo you can see the
lighthouse in the painting.
In the bottom photo you
can see what the artist sees.

Arnie is a blur. HE MOVES FAST! He has to to get this much detail
 in a layout!

At left, the backyard.
Detailed like the real thing
including dog and his house...
I had a tree house like this but
not in HO Scale.

The barbershop with full
interior detail. Looks like
 indoor plumbing has
not yet arrived in
the neighborhood.

Its a New England beach.
So there are steps down the
rocky face to the "watah."
A little farther down the beach bathers and fisherman alike enjoy the day.  Note the small children with buckets and pails. Not often do you see this kind of detail in HO Scale!

And in the town square,
the band plays on.
