This step makes a poorly maintained roof, or one that is showing its
age.
Curling the Roofing. Using a hobby knife with a chisel point
blade, lift a couple corners by pulling up ONLY the top layer of the
cardboard. If you cut too deep the roofing will be a little thick but
otherwise its not a problem.
